Chapter 4: All together again

Haruka heard the same news report. She looked up at the three other people in the kitchen. "So she showed up again?" she asked.

"Yes. And this time she told us not to interfere. She said we would botch things up." Setsuna commented over her coffee.

Haruka raised an eyebrow. "Oh really? Well, that'll provide for some interesting fights."

"Haruka." Michiru scolded lightly with a smile playing on her lips.

"Come on you all." Hotaru said with impatience. "She's not here to destroy us. She's here to protect me for some reason. And she doesn't want you all to interfere because she's afraid something will happen. Can't you see that? Can't you trust her?" Hotaru's bottom lip trembled.

Setsuna reached over and gave Hotaru a quick squeeze. "We just need to talk to her before we can trust her." She was about to say something else when the phone rang. Setsuna picked it up. She listened for a minute then said "Okay we'll be there as soon as we can." She hung up and said, "That was Usagi. She wants us to meet with the rest of the senshi at Hikawa as soon as possible."

"Guess they heard too." Haruka said as she laced up her tennis shoes. She stood up. "Lets go."

Hino Rei was in the temple meditating before the sacred fire. She wanted to ask the fire what new evil was bothering them this time. She was about to open her mouth when she heard nervous feet on the floor. "Uh . . .Rei?" Came a shaky voice.

Rei sighed, her eyes still closed. "What is it Usagi? Can't you see I'm meditating?"

"Well, yeah, but that's what this man wants to ask you about."

"What man?" Rei turned around with impatience. She saw a thin young man with blue hair walk into the room. Rei shivered as she felt evil enter the room with him. The man smiled a thin smile. Usagi seemed frightened. The man said "Can your sacred fire answer a question for me?"

"Sure." Rei answered quickly. She turned back around, her mind racing.

"Ask it where I may find the soldier of silence or who she is."

Rei's mind screamed 'He wants Sailor Saturn!' but her exterior kept cool. She turned to the fire and said "Rin, Pyou, Tou, Sha, Kai, Jin, Retsu, Sai, Zen!" With the last word Rei threw something into the fire that caused a small explosion. The man covered his eyes. This gave Rei enough time to grab Usagi and run out of the temple and into a small hiding place.

Azul coughed and sputtered. This wasn't going the way he had planned. He opened his eyes and found the pair had disappeared. "What is it priestess? Did you sense my evil presence? Did you know I am holding three girls and two cats hostage in the courtyard? Are you trying to save them? The only way to do that is to reveal the soldier of silence to me. Are you listening?"

In the darkness of the hiding place, Rei could make out Usagi mouthing the words "What does he want with Sailor Saturn?"

Rei shrugged her shoulders. Then she brought her transformation pen and nodded to Usagi. At the same time they yelled:

"Mars Crystal Power!"

"Moon Eternal Make Up!"

Azul waited for the smoke to dissipate. The priestess would probably come back on her hands and knees and beg to be spared. But when the smoke disappeared, he saw two very different figures. The one with the wings spoke first. "I am Eternal Sailor Moon and on behalf of the moon,"

"And Mars," the other said.

Together they finished. "We will punish you!"

Azul stared in shock at Eternal Sailor Moon. She was generating an enormous amount of energy. Maybe she was the soldier of silence. Suddenly her heard the other one shout "Mars Flame Sniper!" and saw a fiery arrow fly toward him. He dodged it just in time. "Catch me if you can!" he yelled as he ducked out of the room.

Azul ran into the courtyard where Rojo waited with three teenagers trapped in a dome of dark energy. "Get ready!" he yelled. Azul turned around and saw the two Sailor Scouts emerge from the temple. "Surrender the Soldier of Silence to me or else these three will die!" he grinned.

One of the three teenagers with long blonde hair inside the dome whispered to the other two, "The Soldier of Silence?"

The girl with short blue hair whispered the answer to her. The blonde hair girl gasped "Oh no!"

The girl with brown hair in ponytail banged on the dome. "No! Don't do it Sailor Moon! We'll get out!"

Sailor Moon and Sailor Mars hesitated. Then a brilliant thought struck Sailor Moon. "We can't." she said with triumph.

"And why not?" Azul asked.

"Because we don't know where she is!" Sailor Moon smiled.

"Well then I'll make you scream till she comes!"

Haruka, Michiru, Setsuna and Hotaru where walking towards Hikawa. The walk had been very quiet. It had become windy and the sky was starting to cloud over. Suddenly, Hotaru stopped. Setsuna stopped too. "What's wrong?" she asked.

"Something's wrong at Hikawa. I just know it." Hotaru whispered.

"Haruka and I will run up ahead. We'll meet you there." Michiru and Haruka dashed off down the sidewalk. A few moments later, they arrived at Hikawa, in time to hear Azul say "Well the I'll make you scream till she comes!"

Haruka held up her hand and cautiously peered into the courtyard. She saw Eternal Sailor Moon and Super Sailor Mars and three girls caught in Rojo's dome. Then she saw a rose come flying through the air and burst the dome, freeing the three girls. Tuxedo Kamen appeared in front of Sailor Moon. "How dare you try to blackmail these girls to turn over one of their own!"

Azul raised one eyebrow. Rojo raised two. She felt a blush creep up her neck. It matched her long red hair and accented her long black dress. Azul noticed out of the corner of his eye but pretended not to. He was about to respond to Tuxedo Kamen when her heard two voices. "We will never let you have the Soldier of Silence!"

Azul groaned as he turned his head. "What? More of you Sailor people?"

"I am Sailor Uranus."

"And I am Sailor Neptune."

"And we will protect the Soldier of Silence at all costs!"

While Neptune and Uranus were going through their speech, the three girls crawled away, unnoticed by Rojo or Azul. As soon as Neptune and Uranus were done, three more Sailor Scouts emerged. "And we will protect her too!"

Azul and Rojo whirled around and saw three more Sailor Scouts.

"I am Sailor Mercury!"

"Sailor Jupiter!"

"And Sailor Venus!"

"With the rest of the scouts, we will stop you!"

Rojo and Azul looked at each other. Azul turned and faced the two outers and Rojo the inners. "You will never stop us." He said and they both blasted the scouts.

Setsuna and Hotaru saw the blasts as they rounded the corner near Hikawa. Setsuna turned to Hotaru. "Stay here."

"But you're going to need my help." Hotaru protested.

"Yes but don't forget the enemy is after you. Stay here and you'll be safe." Setsuna replied.

"I can't. I have to help! I have to!"

"No!" Setsuna said firmly. Then she ran off to transform.

Hotaru stayed, despite her want to help. She did get as close as she could to the battle and saw things were going badly for the scouts. She saw the eight scouts and Tuxedo Kamen all back to back trying to fight off the powerful enemies. Uranus' Space Sword Blaster was doing no good and Sailor Moon didn't have enough time between blasts to get off her attack. She saw Sailor Venus go down and Sailor Mercury fall, protecting Sailor Moon. "Mercury! Venus!" Sailor Moon screamed.

"Tell me where the Soldier of Silence is!!" Rojo screamed

"Never!!" Sailor Moon choked out between her tears.

Rojo blasted the group again. Mars tried her Flame Sniper but Rojo knocked it away like it was a twig. Suddenly they heard a whisper "Dead Scream." The blast managed to wound Rojo enough to get her stop. "Azul!" she screamed.

Azul ran over and saw her hurt. He screamed "You'll pay!" and blasted Sailor Pluto. She was hurt badly and fell to the ground. "Pluto!" Sailor Moon, Sailor Uranus, and Sailor Neptune rushed to her side. "Protect her," Pluto whispered then she fell unconscious.

Tears sprang to Hotaru's eyes. "No," she whispered. "No. NO!" Hotaru screamed. Closing her fist over her heart, she whispered "I call upon the power of the planet Saturn, her rings and her moons. Give me strength to destroy the enemy, NOW!"

A purple stream of energy erupted from her body and surrounded her, forming her Sailor Senshi uniform. Then she whispered "Silence Glaive" and it appeared beside her. Taking a deep breath, she ran into the courtyard and jumped in front of Azul's blast yelling "Silent Wall!" and blocked his blast.

Azul stopped the blast. Immense energy radiated her from her, a thousand times stronger than that of Sailor Moon. "Who are you?"

"I am Sailor Saturn and I will destroy you."
